Salt and mineral baths are a great way to relax at the end of the day while simultaneously infusing the skin and body with minerals and hydration. Through the process of dermal absorption, skin soaks up minerals from the water – often better than if the same minerals were consumed internally. Because it contains so many of the different minerals our bodies need to stay healthy, when it comes to the best things to put in your bath water, Himalayan pink salt is at the top of the list.
A warm bath infused with Himalayan pink salt is also great for relaxing cramped muscles. The magnesium and some other trace minerals absorb through the skin to help heal damaged muscle and other soft tissues. Also works as a powerful detoxifier.

Where does it come from ?
The Himalayas – the tallest mountains in the world – span 2400 kilometers across Asia at the joining of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates. Where these proud peaks now stand, 250 million years ago was a primordial sea. Within that ancient body of water existed a perfect, pristine ecosystem. As the plates of the earth moved and over the ages pushed the Himalayas toward the heavens, the sea evaporated and all of its life-sustaining minerals crystallized under the heat of the sun to form what we now know as Himalayan pink salt.
Because of the conditions by which it was formed, this purest of sea salts one of the best sources of natural minerals on the planet and exponentially healthier than the bleached and processed salt .

Cleopatra was definitely onto something when she indulged in daily beauty treatment milk baths. Legend has it that Cleopatra was one of the first that also used ground oats in her skincare regime. In fact, the ancient Egyptians were among the first people to recognize the soothing effect oats had on the skin. Since then, oatmeal baths have long been recommended for people with a variety of skin ailments. I listed some of the greatest benefits of bathing in milk and oats:

Slough Off Dead Skin
A milk bath can help soften and smooth rough, flaky skin. Milk contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that can help loosen the bonds that hold old, dead cells to the surface of the skin. Once these scaly dead cells are removed, your skin feels softer and looks brighter. A milk bath helps exfoliate your skin without any scrubbing, so you don't have to worry about irritating your skin.

Boost Moisture
Exfoliating with a milk bath can help treatment products penetrate the skin more effectively, so your moisturizer does a better job of keeping your skin hydrated. Milk also contains fats and proteins that can help boost your skin's moisture content and keep it hydrated even after you're done soaking. For the best results, rinse your skin after a bath and apply a hydrating body lotion or cream to lock in the moisture.

Calm and Soothe
When you have irritated skin, a milk and oat bath can help soothe and calm it. The proteins whey and casein found in milk, as well as the amino acids, lactic acid and vitamins A, D and E, all work together to help reduce redness and itchiness. A soak in a milk bath helps when you have a chronic condition like eczema; a temporary issue such as sunburn or poison oak irritation; or even just itchy skin from dryness.

Oatmeal the super healer :

oats baths are incredibly healing and may even help to reduce the need for high-potency topical corticosteroids. Oats impart a protective layer over the skin’s surface, which helps retain its natural moisture. During your oatmeal bath, the natural starches in oats will absorb water and bind to your skin. And the polyphenols or avenanthramides will work to relieve your dry skin. Avenanthramides can also reduce inflammation and itching caused by scratching dry skin. An oatmeal bath will leave your skin feeling soft and silky.

Takes the itch out of mosquito bites and relieve bee stings
You may not have considered taking a soothing oatmeal bath to relieve the itch of mosquito bites. But this old remedy is a great way to get relief. In addition, the anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative and anti-itching properties in avenanthramides will reduce swelling. Common symptoms of bee stings include swelling, inflammation, pain and redness. Oatmeal baths provide tremendous relief from the pain, itching and inflammation associated with bee stings.

Cleanses your pores
When the sebaceous gland produces too much oil or sebum, it can clog pores and cause bacterial infections, resulting in acne. Unfortunately, all pores can become clogged, including pores on the back, leaving you with back acne or “acne.” An oatmeal bath will help absorb excess oil, prevent pores from clogging and help wash away toxins and impurities. Oatmeal’s anti-inflammatory properties will also help reduce the swelling, redness and irritation often caused by acne breakouts.

this are just some of the amazing benefits of taking a milk oat bath. Once you had your first milk bath you will most likely never go without again because the effect it has on your skin are just to good to be true.

all our milk bath are made without cornstarch nor baking soda. We truly keep it simple like the old days. Its a personal decision i made because i for myself just do not really enjoy the feel of baking soda or cornstarch in my bath water. We only use Milk which is very high in vitamins A and D. No artificial flavors or colors, Kosher dairy, Rich in calcium. We use Colloidal oatmeal and also add fresh grounded flowers and herbs in it.

If you have any questions or special request always feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to help. We do not add any essential oils to our milk bath because we truly believe in the power of the milk and oats by itself with the fresh herbs its just all your skin really needs.

Dissolve salt or milk soak under warm running bath water. Sit back , relax and let our Bath Soak do the rest .
